Our Team
We're more than just cleaners—we're moms, military wives, and community members who understand the value of a clean, peaceful space. With heart, hustle, and a whole lot of life experience, we treat every home like our own.

Miranda Vela
Owner & CEO
Hi, everyone! I'm Miranda, the owner of MVP Cleaning, a military wife, and a proud mom to an energetic one-year-old son. I'm originally from West Texas, but my husband's military career brought our family to North Carolina in 2021.
After earning my MBA in 2022, I decided to turn my passion for helping others into a business of my own. As a military spouse and mom, I understand how busy life can get, and I know how much of a difference a clean, comfortable home can make.
When I'm not working, you can usually find me exercising, spending time outdoors, learning how to bake, or chasing after my toddler before he discovers a new way to test my parenting skills.
My goal is to provide reliable, high-quality cleaning services while building genuine relationships with the families I serve. Thank you all for supporting my small business!

Emilie Merritt
Tech
Hi, I’m Emilie!
As a proud military spouse and mom to two grown (or almost grown!) boys, I’ve learned that life can be wonderfully unpredictable—and that a clean, organized space can make all the difference. Originally from Michigan (Go Blue!), I’ve always had a passion for helping others, especially when it comes to supporting mental wellness and creating environments where people can feel comfortable, calm, and at their best.
I believe that a clean home is about more than appearances—it can reduce stress, improve focus, and provide a sense of peace in our busy lives. Being part of that process is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me enjoying what I lovingly call my "granny hobbies"—knitting, reading, or baking something delicious. I’m also what I like to describe as "outsidey, not outdoorsy." Give me a front porch, a good cup of tea, and great conversation with family and friends, and I’m perfectly happy.
I look forward to helping create a clean, welcoming space that makes your life just a little bit easier.

Sarah Brown
Lead Tech
After moving from North Carolina to Alaska for her husband’s first duty station, Sarah embraced military life with courage and heart.
Now back in her home state and a proud mom, she knows firsthand how busy life can get—and how important a clean, peaceful space truly is. With a love for tidying and a natural sense of care, Sarah takes pride in helping others enjoy stress-free, refreshed homes.
When she’s not working, Sarah enjoys spending time with loved ones, staying active, and soaking up life’s little joys—especially if animals or shopping are involved!

Daphne Felix
Tech
My name is Daphne and I’m a loving mom to two wonderful kids. My love for cleaning started when I was a teenager, helping my mom who also cleaned homes professionally. I guess you could say it just became second nature to me over time.
I’m a bit of a bookworm, and in my free time I really enjoy being with my family—whether that’s going on hikes, visiting parks, or just getting outside together in gardens and nature.
Helping support my family while making people feel comfortable and happy in their homes is something I truly take pride in. It really brings me joy.

Imelda Martinez
Tech
My name is Imelda, and I recently moved to the area from Colorado. I’m an Army veteran and proudly served 7 years on active duty. Family means everything to me. I’m a mom of three adult children (two daughters and one son) and a proud grandma to four grandchildren, with a fifth grandbaby on the way!
When I’m not working, you can usually find me sewing, crafting, or adding to my ever-growing collection of quilting fabric (some might call it hoarding, but I prefer “collecting” 😊). I’m also a big fan of true crime shows and videos.
These days, I really value simple things like spending time with my family, staying busy with projects I enjoy, and doing my best in everything I take on. I take a lot of pride in my work, and it’s important to me to do things the right way.
